Master Gardner / Permaculture Expert
Fortuna Ranch Farm Sanctuary
We live in Olivenhain, Encinitas on 2.5 acres that we are is an animal farm sanctuary and permaculture farm. We are nonprofit as well.
Looking for a master gardener / permaculture expert
Must: Have experience with high variety organic gardening and permaculture. Knowledge of how to compost.
Willing to work in gardens and landscaping.
Position is part time. Minimum of 4 hours a week. Depending on the projects it can be 8 hours a week or more.
Type of Work.
Gardens: Plant seasonal gardens, upkeep and harvesting. Work on water catchment systems. Prune trees, dehydrate food.
Landscape: General landscape, pulling weeds, checking sprinklers, spreading mulch, etc.
Requirements:
Shared Sanctuary Values, Strong Work Ethic, Honest, Ethical, Trustworthy, Organized.
Pay: $23 per hour.
