Computer Production Technician
Protectli is a manufacturer of small form factor computers and network appliances. We are seeking an hourly Production Technician who can assist with the fulfillment of customer orders to requested specifications, from assembly of computers to processing shipments. You must be friendly and willing to learn. We are a small operation in a relaxed environment, and we value customer satisfaction above all else. We do whatever we can to make sure our customers are always happy with our products and services, and expect the same from you.
Responsibilities
- Up to 40 hours per week on site in our offices in Vista, California
- Assemble, test, troubleshoot, and ship computers to end customers
- Follow instructions and procedures for manufacturing, shipping, and processing returns
- Maintain accurate records of production, shipments and returns
- Work independently with minimal supervision, handle multiple projects and adapt to changing priorities
- Work through issues with computers, inventory, equipment as they arise and find solutions and/or alert peers and management
Requirements
- Basic knowledge of Computer hardware (RAM, CPU, Storage, PCI, HDMI, USB)
- Basic computer skills, MS Office, Google Apps, etc.
- Excellent teamwork capabilities including the ability to work with management, peers and customers
- Strong verbal and written skills, ability to describe issues and solutions
- You must enjoy working with computers / electronics
- Clean background, self starter, attention to detail, must be willing to learn
- Must be able to lift equipment and shipments up to 40 lbs.
- Must be able to thrive in a fast moving environment, communicate effectively, work cross functionally and assist others as needed
Salary
Salary is hourly, commensurate with experience
