PERSONAL ASSISTANT/ HOUSE MANAGER

For busy husband and wife (HW) at their home and office. North County. RSF area.

This is a NO DRAMA, adult position. No COVID nonsense. If you are glued to your iPhone all day and have outside distractions—please do not apply. We offer solid compensation and in return we expect you to make an equally great, focused effort.

JOB REQUIREMENTS: English is your first language. US Citizens only. Proof of Citizenship required. Must have a clean, Real ID CA driver’s license. Reliable vehicle to get to work. No outside drama or distractions. Live within 20 minutes of zip 92127. Prior recent experience as Personal Assistant. Ability to work alone and get the task done.

Organized, disciplined, motivated. Calendar management and scheduling proficiency. Can you take charge and own it? If you need your hand held, do not apply.

Keep HW totally organized, running smoothly and efficiently. Supervise housekeeper, landscaper, and vendors. Pet free, smoke free, no kids, 10,000 sf home in gated community.

Errands-lunch, dry cleaners, car wash/fuel, supplies, light filing, check emails.

Organize-wine cellar, pantry, closets, storage, fridge, garages, etc. Spotless, perfect at all times.

Plan and set-up for small dinner parties/events.

Schedule appointments and make travel arrangements.

Drive HW to appointments (SUV will be supplied)

iPhone will be supplied and tracked. Your phone stays off while working.

Work independently. Learn patterns and preferences of HW.

Display high level of discretion, confidentiality, privacy, and professionalism. No pictures or posting on social media.

You must be a careful, slow, and safe driver. No smoking/vaping. No shorts, t-shirts, or flip flops. Casual and neat.

Typical Day

Drive HW to office/appointments. Fuel and clean cars. Errands—dry cleaner, etc.

Shopping- Ralphs, Whole Foods, Costco, Home Depot, Mall.

Order requested household items on Amazon, Walmart, etc.

Organize pantry, fridge, closets, wine cellar, storage.

Schedule appointmentsmedical, spa. Order lunch/dinner and coordinate pick-up/delivery. Supervise housekeeper/landscaper/vendor daily tasks to make sure tasks done on time and correctly.

Put away deliveries/packages. Sort through junk mail.

Make travel arrangements. Book flights, Uber, restaurants.

Schedule maintenance services for home as directed/needed. Inspect entire home & property daily outside and inside, note anything that needs attention or repair – ex: light bulbs, door latch sticks, etc. Replace/fix if easy, or schedule repair contractor. Ex: notice a dying plant outside—take picture and send to landscaper to take care of. Follow-up to make sure it is done promptly and correctly. Consult with HW only if necessary. Can you see what needs to be done and get it done before the HW sees it and asks you to do it? If not, then you will fail at this job.

You will not be working for someone famous or exciting. We’re boring 68 yr olds. This is a rewarding position for the right person. Occasional travel to our other home in Park City, Utah. All travel costs are paid.

$40/hr. Health insurance benefit for full-time (40 hrs). This will be W2 employment—i.e. reported and taxed. 10 paid holidays. Full-time position: M-F 9a-5p but will consider part-time. (part-time $35/hr. no benefits) Some weekends and evenings may be required. You need to be flexible.

You must be 100% reliable. If you start taking extra days off, calling in sick at the last minute, have personal emergencies, (i.e. drama) your position will end. If you are not ready for this position, as outlined above, please do not apply. No stories, please.
