Job title: Quality Inspector
Grove Aircraft has need of a Quality Inspector who, using standard inspection devices and or elementary testing equipment, and following prescribed inspection procedures, sets-up checks and visually inspects for conformance, materials, products and processes. Must be able to work from production specifications, blueprints. Includes first article inspections of Products.
Quality Inspector
El Cajon
Monday – Friday 7:30am – 4:00pm
$22/hour - 24/ hour
Job Duties:
Perform receiving, in-process and final inspections to verify compliance to applicable procedures including but not limited to, work instructions, product specifications, and production drawings
Responsible for inspecting/verifying WIP and final inspection of articles as necessary
Responsible for completing inspection assignments within broad guidelines and general supervision
Maintains product and inspection traceability
Responsible for final QA signature/release to ship products
Education:
High school diploma, GED or equivalent required
3 years mechanical inspection experience in a manufacturing environment
Must have good communication skills, both written and spoken
Must be able read production drawings, understanding dimensions and tolerances
Knowledgeable of MS Word and Excel
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
Moderate to heavy physical effort required
Regularly required to sit or stand, reach and move about the facility
Work performed in both a manufacturing and office environment
