Downtown law firm seeking an experienced legal office services clerk with minimum one year experience supporting a busy civil litigation and estate planning practice. Responsibilities and skills include copy, production, and scanning, fax, mail and shipping, records support, hospitality assistance, conference room set up and scheduling, receptionist backup, limited accounting duties, and light facilities support; possess the legal background to understand client matter work flow; knowledge of court systems, and the proper delivery of items and documents within the court system; utilize equipment such as: copier, scanner, paper cutter, hole driller, bindery equipment; handle time sensitive documents that are confidential in nature; ordering of office supplies; communicating with firm personnel, clients, vendors and other third parties; competency in software applications, including word processing, document management, spreadsheet and database management, timekeeping, accounting, and forms programs.

Requirements:

Minimum 1 year experience in legal office services position

Working knowledge of general legal concepts, terminology, and principles

Good project management skills

Attention to detail, time management, good judgment, and solid organizational skills

Basic IT skills preferred

Excellent written and oral communication skills

Well-developed interpersonal skills

High degree of professionalism

California pay range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on skillset and experience is $18.00 to $21.63 per hour.
