About this Job:

We are a boutique law firm seeking a highly organized and proactive Legal Assistant or Paralegal to support our legal team. This role is ideal for someone with legal experience who thrives on juggling multiple responsibilities—from organizing case files and managing legal documents, to client outreach and administrative support.

The ideal candidate will have a strong organizational skills and command of Excel, and possess excellent organization and phone communication skills. Spanish-speaking candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

-Provide day-to-day legal administrative support to attorneys and paralegal

-Organize, manage, and maintain large volumes of legal documents and client records

-Track and input data accurately in Excel spreadsheets and case management tools

-Assist with Discovery

-Conduct client follow-up and outreach via phone and email with professionalism and empathy

-Assist with intake forms, legal correspondence, and case file updates

-Support billing, invoicing, and expense tracking using QuickBooks

-Translate and communicate with Spanish-speaking clients (if applicable)

Requirements:

-Prior experience as a legal assistant, paralegal, or administrative role

-Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel (e.g., formulas, filtering, data entry)

-Excellent phone etiquette and people skills

-High attention to detail and strong organizational abilities

-Ability to prioritize tasks and work under deadlines

-Familiarity with QuickBooks or willingness to learn

-Spanish fluency is a strong plus

Preferred Qualifications:

-Experience in personal injury, civil litigation, or mass tort is a bonus

-Familiarity with Clio

-Strong writing and proofreading skills

-Proven ability to organize and manage large volume of documents
