TRAVELING CONSTRUCTION CONSTRUCTION SUPERVISOR / SUPERINTENDENT NEEDED

As a traveling construction Supervisor, you will travel with and lead a skilled crew to build world-class water features in the United States and Mexico. You will use your skills and experience to ensure the project success through daily management of a crew of 6-8 team members. You will ensure that the project is on schedule, all policies and procedures are being followed, and regularly communicate updates with the project manager. Crew duties include sizing and laying down lake liner, PVC pipe installation of various sizes up to 36” diameter, installing chicken wire over the liner, preparing the work area according to the plans, and pumping concrete to create lakes, ponds, waterfalls, and bridges.

REQUIREMENTS:

- Willingness and ability to travel and be away on a job for extended time

- Minimum of 5+ years of supervising construction crews and projects

- Valid Driver's License required

- Your own reliable transportation

- Physically able to work on your feet for 8+ hours/day

- Ability to lift 50+ pounds

- Maintain good attendance record and be punctual to work

- Ability to properly, efficiently, and safely work with construction hand tools, and gas powered equipment

Bilingual a plus - not required

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Maintains project administration in a correct and timely manner

- Ensuring job is on schedule

- Daily Client Communication

- Ability to read construction blueprints and store elevation drawings

- Orders materials and equipment

- Meets construction budget by monitoring project expenditures

- Communication with Estimator / project manager

- Prevents fines and work interruptions by complying with, and enforcing, codes

- Maintaining an accurate record of construction employee attendance

- Evaluating the performance of construction employees and instituting disciplinary measures as needed

- Dealing with crew issues

- Reports (dailies, timesheets)

- Ensuring safety protocols are followed

- Assess safety and financial goals

- Train on and abide by company policies and safety standards

- Lead and attend routine meetings with crew and management

- Represent the Company’s best interest and maintain professionalism
