Eastridge Workforce Solutions is now hiring a General Laborer/Construction Yard Worker in the Escondido, CA area.
Title: Construction Yard Worker
Shift: 6am - 230pm, Monday - Friday
Pay: $19/hr
Responsibilities
· Safely and efficiently use a heavy drill (approximately 50 lbs) to chip away cement inside the truck barrel.
· Work in 15-minute intervals, followed by 15-minute breaks throughout the day.
· Maintain a high level of concentration and precision while chipping the cement.
· Follow safety protocols and guidelines provided by the supervisor.
· Work under the direct supervision of an experienced foreman, who will be stationed outside the truck.
· Ensure the secure entry and exit of the cement truck at all times.
Requirements
· Ability to handle a heavy drill (approximately 50 lbs.) and perform physically demanding tasks. Willingness to work in a confined space inside the cement truck barrel.
· Good communication skills to follow the supervisor's instructions.
· Strong work ethic and dedication to safety. A positive and cooperative attitude.
· Ability to work in 15-minute intervals, with short breaks, throughout the day
· Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced setting
· Temp-to-hire role
· Weekly compensation
· Immediate next-day start
