Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Lead Bartender to join our dynamic team. The Lead Bartender will not only excel in crafting delicious cocktails but will also demonstrate leadership qualities by supervising and guiding our team of bartenders. This individual will play a key role in maintaining the high standards of service and operational excellence that our guests have come to expect.

Responsibilities:

- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the bar, ensuring smooth and efficient service and standards

- Collaborate with management to have optimal scheduling systems for bartender and busser personnel

- Train, mentor, and motivate bartending staff, setting a positive example for professionalism and customer service

- Learn and operate company Point of Sale, inventory, and staff management tools

- Create innovative and enticing menus, incorporating seasonal ingredients and trends

- Maintain inventory levels and order supplies as needed to ensure uninterrupted service

- Ensure price fluctuations in purchases are monitored and reflected in financial projections which may result in price or menu adjustments

- Monitor the cleanliness and organization of the venue, enforcing company standards as well as adhering to all health department standards

- Handle guest inquiries, feedback, and complaints in a timely and professional manner

- Collaborate with management to develop promotions and special events to drive business and increase revenue

- Collaborate with management to have optimal scheduling systems for staff

- Adhere to all legal regulations regarding the sale and service of alcohol

- Participate in weekly meetings with management, staff, and vendors as needed

Qualifications

- Must be 21+ to apply

- Proven experience as a bartender in a high-volume establishment

- Well versed in food operations, we take food orders too

- Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred

- Extensive knowledge and passion for cocktails, beer, spirits, and wine

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

- Able to lift 50 lbs

- Attention to detail and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service

- Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and inventory management software

- Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required

- Experience with draft systems, bar hardware, and cocktail batching recipes

- Passion for live music and the arts
