JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITES
Perform detailed design on a large variety of civil engineering projects
Complete assigned projects within budget and schedule limitations
Maintain and prepare technical correspondence and engineering reports
Use engineering and computer systems (including AutoCAD and Softdesk) to develop engineering and mathematical analysis of design problems as well as complete maps, drawings, and take-offs for cost estimating
Perform calculations necessary for mapping and construction staking
Work as part of a design team under the direct supervision of a Registered Civil Engineer
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering
Engineer-in-Training (EIT) Certificate (desirable)
2 + years related Civil Design experience
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrated proficiency with AutoCAD
