As we continue to expand our operations, we are seeking a talented Mailing Manager to oversee our Mailing department during the day shift. With 220+ employees DPG is comprised of nine print and mail companies, consolidated under the Delta Print Group name: Delta Web Printing, Paul Baker Printing, River City Printers, Metro Mailing Service, MSI (Mailing Systems, Inc.), Citra Communications, Fruitridge Printing, Mailrite Print & Mail, Robinson Anderson Fulfillment and more to come.

As the Mailing Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of at least 25 individuals in our print and mailing facility. Your primary focus will be managing the day-to-day operations of our Mailing department, ensuring timely and accurate processing of mailings. You will oversee various tasks such as inkjetting, inserting, handwork, and quality control procedures to meet client specifications and deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and supervise a team of at least 25 individuals in the Mailing department.

Coordinate workflow to ensure efficient processing of mailings.

Oversee inkjetting and inserting technologies, ensuring proper setup and operation.

Implement and enforce quality control procedures to maintain accuracy and consistency.

Monitor inventory levels of supplies and equipment, coordinating replenishment as needed.

Train and mentor staff on mailing procedures and safety protocols.

Collaborate with other department managers to optimize overall production processes.

Maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with company standards and safety regulations.

Address any issues or concerns raised by team members and work towards resolution.

Other duties and tasks may be assigned to meet business needs

Qualifications:

Previous experience: 3+ years in a managerial role within a print and mailing facility.

Proficiency in inkjetting and inserting technologies is essential.

Knowledge of USPS rules and regulations.

Strong leadership and team-building skills.

Excellent organizational and time management abilities.

Attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.

Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

Knowledge of safety and maintenance protocols related to mailing operations.

Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
