We are currently seeking a reliable and skilled Inkjet Operator to join our mailing department. The ideal candidate will have experience operating inkjet machines and be familiar with the printing and mailing industry.
Responsibilities:
Set up and operate inkjet machines to print addresses, barcodes, and other information on mail pieces
Monitor machine performance and make adjustments as needed to ensure quality output.
Perform regular maintenance on equipment to keep it running smoothly
Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the printing process.
Coordinate with other team members to complete mailing projects on time and according to schedule.
Maintain accurate records of production and report any issues to management.
Ability to lift drive a forklift and lift 50 lbs.
Qualifications:
-High school diploma or equivalent
-Previous experience operating inkjet machines in a printing or mailing environment
-Knowledge of mail sorting and processing procedures
-Ability to work independently and follow instructions
-Strong attention to detail and quality control
-Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment
