Job Title: Senior Care Manager
Our fun and outgoing agency is looking to hire A TEAM PLAYER. Working together to meet our clients' needs are ESSENTIAL. Leadership skills are a MUST and always conducting yourself in a positive and professional manner. Supervising caregivers (Home Care Aides), recruiting, training, hiring, delegating, coaching, problem-solving, and creative thinking. Recruit daily, set up interviews, orientation, make sure all paperwork, training and in-services are completed in a timely manner. Home Care Aide files should be accurate and in-compliance with The Department of Social Services (soft and hard files) and our Agency Policies and Procedures. This position is full-time Monday through Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM including on-call rotation during the week, weekends, and holidays. Serious inquires please!
Job Description
Answers phone lines, take messages using good telephone etiquette
Receives referrals and inquiries regarding the services we provide and schedule assessments.
Provide case management to our clients, and caregiver to client matching
Assists with Orientation, In-Services, and Training.
Maintains documentation of our clients, home care aides and referrals into database scheduling system.
Communicates continually with associates and clients to evaluate service.
Direct contact for clients and daily communication when needed
On-call rotation including weekends and flexibility with your team members
Promote the Agency marketing our services and recruit job seekers
Computer Savvy, sharp and quick with your thinking, pay close attention to detail and meet deadlines
The ability to read, write, speak, and understand English that is needed for the job.
Can work independently and manage your time well
Bring new and exciting ideas to the table Education, Experience, Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Availability
Management and staff meetings
Cover shifts when needed and Register as an HCA (Home Care Aide) with The California Department of Social Services
Quality Assurance Visits
Keep track of supplies and inventory
Be fun, get your job done, dependable, reliable, keep your cool, and respect your team members
Basic office and organizational abilities.
Excellent interpersonal relations abilities.
Excellent telephone skills.
Additionally.
High School graduate or equivalent with two years or more of business experience; preferably in the field of in-home care.
Knowledge of common medical terminology.
Able to work independently, demonstrating sound judgment and back your team members!
