This position is for a full time Project Engineer/Assistant to a Project Manager within an extremely fast paced commercial flooring subcontractor in Costa Mesa, CA. Corradini Corp. is a family owned & operated company in business since 1924 (100 years). We are looking for someone with a dynamic personality, who is dependable, and who desires a long-term career to add to our team. WE ARE WILLING TO TRAIN!
Hours are 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Monday through Friday in Costa Mesa, CA (right by the SNA Airport).
Job Duties (to include but not limited to the following):
Assist Project Managers in all facets of the construction process, when needed, including creating excel spreadsheets, take-offs, material ordering, submittals, email correspondence, trucking etc Reading Specifications, Plans & Contract Documents (will train)
Create Shop Drawings in CAD &; BIM Format (will train)
Write business submittals and emails
Qualifications:
Must be adept in Microsoft Office with advanced proficiency in Excel
Must be able to Multi-Task, with great attention to detail
Must maintain professional business appearance and manner
Must have good telephone etiquette and customer service skills
Must be able to work well with others as well as work well independently
Additional Qualifications, but not required (we will train) - please specify if you have experience in any of the following:
Construction Experience
Familiar with reading plans, specs and shop drawings as well as redlining drawings
Proficient in AutoCAD
