We are looking for a positive, motivated, and multi-tasking tax preparer to join our accounting office. Our office is fully remote and provides accounting & tax services to small businesses, entrepreneurs, high net worth individuals and social media influencers. It is a fun, laid back company where you'll be managing your own schedule to complete assigned tasks.
Job Duties:
- Prepare Corporate, Partnership, LLC, and Individual tax returns (can range from simple to med difficulty)
- Prepare year-end projections
- Review financial statements and/or records for accuracy
- Communicate with account managers and/or clients in order to obtain any missing information
- Assist with tax notices, tax payments, state tax filings, corporate registration matters
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of FIVE years tax experience
- Tax Preparation Certification, Enrolled Agent or CPA license preferred
- Proficient in Proseries, Lacerte, Microsoft Office, and Quickbooks
- Ability to work independently and work on a return from start to finish
- Ability to handle multiple returns throughout the season
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational tasks
- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally
