Job Duties
Prepare individual tax returns and ensure their proper, accurate, and timely submission.
Prioritize cases appropriately and work diligently.
Communicate with clients regarding their tax preparation services.
Inform clients of important paperwork and documentation needed to complete tax returns properly.
Qualifications:
Less than 1 year of Tax preparation experience
MUST HAVE CTEC Licensed (Active/Renewed) & PTIN
Business Tax Returns preferred but not required
Familiar with Schedules A, B, C, D, and E preparation and nuances
Experience with completing amended tax returns.
Ability to use analysis to ask meaningful fact-finding questions when presented with limited tax information/source documents.
Knowledge of accounting processes
Skilled using tax preparation software and experienced in troubleshooting common tax program problems.
Book keeping is a huge bonus
Proficient computer skills
Experience consulting tax handbooks or other printed materials to determine the proper procedure for preparing challenging returns.
Strong written and communications skills
