Qualifications:
1 year of Tax preparation experience
MUST HAVE CTEC Licensed (Active) & PTIN (we will take care of your bond)
Ultratax software would be a bonus but not required
Familiar with 1040 and Schedules A, B, C, D, and E forms.
Ability to use analysis to ask meaningful fact-finding questions when presented with limited tax information/source documents.
Proficient computer skills
It is helpful to have experience with tax research; it is not required and will teach you!
Strong written and communications skills
Job Duties
Prepare individual tax returns and ensure their proper, accurate, and timely submission.
Be able to use computer tax software and Microsoft: excel, word, outlook, and Calendar.
Communicate with the office and clients.
Ability to prioritize cases appropriately and work diligently.
Inform clients of the paperwork and documentation needed to complete tax returns correctly.
