Linder and Associates, an established property management company in Los Angeles, is seeking a Part-Time, Bi-lingual Spanish Speaking, Onsite Manager for a 16-unit Apartment Building in the Downtown, USC Area of LA, to live in and manage. Unit Available to live in is a Studio Apartment for $600/mo.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Collect rents from tenants
Monitor delinquencies
Work with property supervisor to communicate about tenant needs, maintenance requests, and building operations
Post 3 day notices, 24 hour notices to enter, and all other tenant/property related notices
Coordinate with vendors and maintenance technicians to complete maintenance requests
Walk the property every morning and evening and report items that need attention
Show vacant units to prospective renters and hold open houses during evenings and weekends if necessary
Conduct move in and move out inspections
Requirements for the position:
Bi-lingual Spanish Speaker Preferred
Prior experience as an onsite manager preferred
Must be familiar with how to use a computer and Microsoft Word
Reliable transportation with valid auto insurance preferred
Must have good credit and background check
Experience with and knowledge of fair housing laws preferred
Minimum of 12-15 hours of availability onsite weekly
Compensation:
Discounted rent of $600 offered for a studio apartment
Reimbursement for cell phone, internet, mileage, and supplies
