This position is ideal for someone who already has a job and can work at the building, if needed, up to a few hours each day. Anticipated hours of work is about 10hrs each week. Main compensation is a considerable discount on the rent for a 2BR apartment. Relocation to the 2BR apartment is required. Rent for the apartment with the discount applied will be $1,300.00 per month.
Glendale Property Management is currently seeking a friendly, energetic, and motivated professional to join our team. The position available is for Resident Manager of a 23-unit building located in Arcadia, across the Westfield Mall. The ideal candidate will play a key role in supporting daily operations, ensuring resident satisfaction, coordinating repairs and maintenance, and enhancing the overall living experience.
This position requires moving into the 2BR apartment designated for the resident manager. The apartment is offered at a discounted rate of $1,300.00 per month.
Duties Include:
- Reporting to Owner and Property Management company
- Coordinating repairs and maintenance
- Resolving tenant issues
- Performing daily walk-throughs of the property
- Handling move-ins & move-outs
- Responding to maintenance requests submitted by tenants
Qualifications:
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Basic knowledge of major components of a building
- Thorough knowledge of Fair Housing Laws
- Computer literate a must (Outlook, Word, Excel, Windows)
- Minimum 2 years experience as a Resident Manager
Compensation:
- Hourly Rate of $18.00
- Housing Credit (1/3 off rent for 2br)
