Position Overview:

We are seeking a friendly, energetic, and motivated professional to join our beautiful 174-unit apartment community in Lake Balboa as an Assistant Property Manager. This role emphasizes delivering exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will play a key role in supporting daily operations, ensuring resident satisfaction, and enhancing the overall living experience within our community.

Key Responsibilities:

Show available units, conduct open houses, and assist with leasing activities.

Prepare and execute leases and handle rent collection.

Provide exemplary customer service by promptly attending to resident requests, addressing complaints, and resolving issues.

Serve notices and renewals.

Schedule move-ins and move-outs, coordinate with vendors and maintenance staff, and ensure the general cleanliness of common areas.

Assist in all aspects of daily property operations, including enforcing policies and procedures.

Schedule all vacant unit turnovers to ensure timely completion.

Maintain excellent communication with residents, vendors, and the property management team to enhance the resident experience.

Qualifications:

Minimum of one year in apartment management. Proven track record in leasing and closing deals.

Exceptional credit history is required.

Strong organizational, self-motivation, and multitasking abilities.

Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Experience with Craigslist ads and Yardi is a plus.

Must present a professional appearance and maintain a positive attitude.

Knowledge of Fair Housing laws is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits:

Hourly Rate: $16.78 - $17.50 per hour
