Requirements include but are not limited to:

-2 years' experience as Resident Manager in Los Angeles

-Ability to work independently, juggle multiple priorities, and take initiative in problem solving

-Amazing interpersonal and verbal and written communication skills

-Incredible organizational and record-keeping skills, attention to detail and tolerance for nuance

-Positivity, professionalism and self-motivation

-Ability to handle lots of stress with lots of patience and a sense of humor

-Other employment and flexible schedule

-Familiarity with Fair Housing and other applicable laws as well as the City of LA Rent Stabilization Ordinance

-Computer literacy, e-mail and business software fluency (you have computer/laptop, printer/scanner and smart phone with image capture)

-Valid driver's license and registered, insured vehicle

-Fluency in English

-Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

Duties include and are not limited to:

-Maintain positive and productive relationships with residents, vendors and all others associated with property

-Professional representation of property and management

-Manage day-to-day operation of property and interactions with residents, vendors and others

-Professional and prompt communication with residents and documentation of all communications

-Enforcement of property rules and regulations, leases terms

-Review and log maintenance requests and coordinating vendors as needed

-Determine scope of repairs, projects and unit turns and monitor quality and completion

-Prompt, efficient and cost-effective coordination, scheduling, and facilitation of vendors

-Generation and service of notices and other communications as needed and in compliance with applicable law and regulations

-Routine and other physical inspections of building and individual apartments

-Daily inspection of property including pool, spa, parking and laundry areas to ensure safety, cleanliness and curb appeal

-Maintenance of security app and periodic review as needed

-Collection, logging and prompt depositing of rents and other income, prompt identification and collection of discrepancies

-Marketing vacancies including but not limited to composing and posting ads, completing market surveys and traffic reports, showing apartments, accepting, reviewing and responding to applications, facilitate rental process

-Facilitation of move-ins and move-outs including unit inspection and documentation, explanation of lease terms, execution of leases and collection of security and other deposits

-Light maintenance as required (changing batteries, light bulbs, AC filters, etc.)

-Maintenance and prompt submission of accurate records of hours worked

-Maintenance of all records, including but not limited to leases, notices, communications logs, etc.

-Other tasks as assigned by management

Bachelor's degree preferred, background check required.
