Details:

Position type: Full-time, nonexempt

Location: On-site in Walnut, CA

Reports to: Director of Sales

Salary range: $40-45k a year

Work hours: 8:30 am - 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday

What you'll do:

We are looking for an Administrative Assistant to support our sales team in a number of essential sales-related tasks such as writing orders, sending invoices, generating reports, and working with our finance and warehouse teams to coordinate payments and shipments. You will play a crucial role in ensuring all of the sales operations run smoothly so our clients have a stellar experience. This role is on-site full-time (no hybrid/remote) in our Walnut, CA office (right off the 57/60 freeways).

Process sales orders for sales associates

Assist sales associates with taking orders (phone, email, walk-in)

Assist with the generation of invoices and other documentation required by the clients

Follow up with our finance teams to ensure payment is complete

Facilitate shipping or pickup details with clients and the warehouse team

Attend conventions and shows to assist with orders and customer service

Deliver basic reporting on purchasing trends

Assist with updating and maintaining customer database

All other duties as assigned

We hope you have:

1 year of admin or office experience, preferably supporting a sales team

Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and engage with customers

Highly organized and familiar with Excel (VLOOKUPS and pivot tables)

Ability to travel twice a year
