Qualifications:
Education:
- Associate’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is often preferred but not always required.
Skills and Knowledge:
- Knowledge of basic accounting software like QuickBooks.
- Experience with bookkeeping, accounting, or administrative tasks can be helpful.
- Proficiency with office software, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) or Google Workspace.
- Strong organizational skills, time management, problem solving and the ability to multitask
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of basic office procedures like filing, scheduling, and managing office supplies.
- Communication skills (both written and verbal) to handle phone calls, emails, and correspondence.
- Email etiquette (the ability to answer all emails in a timely manner) is a must.
- Being at work on time every day for the entirety of employment excluding sick days allowed by law, holidays and vacation, is highly valued.
- Being responsible for all assigned tasks and making sure they get done on time is a must.
- Being organized in work related matters is a must.
- Ability to maintain a professional demeanor when interacting with clients and colleagues.
- Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
