We are a busy and growing document processing office specializing in legal documentation for immigration, trusts, probate, car accidents, and unlawful detainers. With a dedicated team of four staff members, we are looking to expand our services and bring on a Lawyer of Record to enhance our operations and ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the official Lawyer of Record for the organization, ensuring compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.
Review and approve legal documents prepared by the document processing team.
Provide legal guidance and advice on various matters, including regulatory compliance and best practices.
Represent the organization in legal communications as needed.
Collaborate with staff to improve document preparation processes and standards.
Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations affecting document processing and ensure organizational compliance.
Qualifications:
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
Active bar membership in good standing in [california ].
Experience in legal documentation, compliance, or a related field preferred.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Compensation:
Compensation will be based on a percentage of revenue, reflecting the success and growth of the office.
