As we continue to grow, we are seeking a talented and passionate Kitchen Manager to join our dynamic team.

Position Overview:

As a kitchen manager at Rita's Deluxe, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our kitchen. Working closely with our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes with precision and consistency. The ideal candidate will have a strong culinary background, excellent organizational skills, experience with ordering/inventory processes as well as a passion for food.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards.

Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient food production.

Train and mentor kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques and procedures.

Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, adhering to all food safety and sanitation guidelines.

Lead inventory management and ordering supplies as needed

Collaborate with the culinary team to develop new menu items and specials.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a sous chef or similar role in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, cooking methods, and kitchen equipment.

Ability to work well under pressure and multitask in a high-volume setting.

Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Food Handler's Certificate or ServSafe Certification preferred.

Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
