A traditional French Boulangerie Patisserie based in Culver City looking for an experienced baker to work at our kitchen location in Mid-city. Looking for 2 bakers and FT and PT roles are available.
We do artisanal breads, freshly baked croissants, decadent pastries and gourmet sandwiches.
Are you passionate about baking and creating delicious treats? We are seeking a skilled Baker to join our team. You will play a key role in the production team.
Duties:
- Prepare and bake a wide range of baked goods, including bread, pastries, cakes, and cookies
- Follow recipes and ensure that all ingredients are measured accurately
- Monitor oven temperatures and baking times to ensure optimal results
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to plan and coordinate baking schedules
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines
Requirements:
- Experience Baker or pastry chef with over 2+ years or 1+ years
- Strong knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, and equipment
- Ability to follow recipes accurately and consistently produce high-quality baked goods
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meet deadlines and able to carry over 50lbs
- Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
