We’re a small, tight-knit team with a deep passion for sourdough and high-quality breadmaking. We’re currently looking for a skilled, efficient, and motivated baker (mixer) to join our production crew. This is a part-time role with potential to grow into a full-time position for the right person.
Responsibilities:
Operate and maintain a spiral mixer for large batches of sourdough.
Pull and lift dough from the mixer into tubs—must be comfortable handling 30 lb lifts.
Perform early-stage dough management tasks like folding and initial shaping.
Monitor dough temperature and consistency; adjust as needed to hit quality benchmarks.
Move quickly and stay organized in a fast-paced, production-focused environment.
Pitch in wherever needed—cleaning, organizing and other bakery support tasks.
Communicate and collaborate with the team to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow.
Must be available for early morning, overnight, or weekend shifts depending on the production schedule.
What We’re Looking For:
Experience: Familiarity with sourdough mixing, fermentation, and hydration control.
Strength & Speed: Physically able to move large batches of dough quickly and safely.
