General Contractor looking for a part time to full time project engineer for a construction project in Carson, CA.
The jobsite is located in Carson but periodic visits to the main office in Huntington Beach may be needed.
Looking for a project engineer with 1-3 years experience on public works projects.
Responsibilities of the project engineer include the following:
Review Plans and Specifications
Prepare and Submit RFI's and Submittals
Procurement of Materials and Equipment
Assist Site Superintendent with Coordination with Subcontractors and Owner
Submit Inspection Requests
Perform Site Inspections with the Superintendent
Perform Site Quality Control Checks
Document Site Conditions
Familiar with Word, Excel, Outlook, MS Project
OSHA Training will be provided
Priority will be given to applicants who have experience but we are open to training those who are willing to learn.
