Our college counseling division provides strategic guidance to middle and high school students as they plan for higher education in the United States and abroad. With a focus on holistic development, academic planning, and application execution, we help students and families navigate the increasingly competitive college admissions landscape with confidence.

Position Summary:

Winter Glory Group is seeking experienced, knowledgeable, and student-centered College Admissions Consultants to join our growing team. Consultants will work closely with students in grades 8–12 to develop academic plans, identify best-fit colleges, prepare application materials, and build strong applicant profiles through mentorship and strategic advising. Both full-time and part-time positions are available, depending on experience and availability.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide one-on-one and small-group counseling for students in all aspects of college admissions, including school selection, timeline planning, and application strategy.

Guide students through the creation of personal statements, supplemental essays, resumes, activity lists, and other application materials.

Advise students on standardized testing (SAT/ACT) planning, extracurricular engagement, leadership development, and summer enrichment opportunities.

Help students identify and apply for scholarships, financial aid, and honors programs.

Conduct college research based on student interests, academic profile, and long-term goals.

Prepare students for interviews and assist with mock interview practice.

Organize and lead parent workshops, college planning seminars, and information sessions.

Collaborate with instructors, academic directors, and student support specialists to align each student’s academic plan with college readiness goals.

Working Hours:

Full-Time 10:00 am – 6:00 pm or Part-Time: 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm or TBD

Additional Responsibilities:

Stay current with admissions trends, changes in application requirements, and updates from universities across the U.S. and internationally.

Maintain accurate records of each student’s college planning progress, application status, and follow-up communications.

Assist in developing college counseling curriculum and informational materials.

Contribute to the development of outreach materials and represent the program in promotional events.

Participate in training, team meetings, and professional development initiatives to stay aligned with best practices.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s in Education, Counseling, or a related field preferred.

Prior experience in college admissions counseling, high school college guidance, or admissions office experience highly preferred.

Deep understanding of U.S. college admissions processes, including UC/CSU, Common App, and private university systems.

Familiarity with college admissions outside the U.S. (e.g., UK, Canada) is a plus.

Excellent writing and editing skills, particularly for guiding students on essays and statements.

Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and communicate effectively with both students and parents.

Culturally responsive and sensitive to the diverse backgrounds of students and families.

Organized, detail-oriented, and proactive in managing multiple student timelines.
