JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to ensure the accurate and timely processing of accounts payable transactions (payment processing, invoice verification, reconciliation of expenses).
Work Location: San Gabriel, CA
RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage accounts payable for distinct entities and suppliers.
Process transactions and fulfil accounting responsibilities such as maintaining accounts, recording entries, and reconciling financial records.
Reconcile monthly statements for outstanding payments with vendors.
Manage accounts utilizing accounting software.
Verify invoice accuracy, including matching invoices with purchase orders and receiving documents.
Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate coding and classification of expenses.
Maintain organized and up-to-date accounts payable records and files.
Respond to vendor inquiries promptly.
Assist in year-end processes (balancing deposit accounts, identify any faulty entries in reporting and correct them, filing etc.)
Complete special projects and miscellaneous assignments as required.
REQUIRED SKILLS
Previous experience in accounts payable or general accounting role preferred.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word.
Familiarity with accounting software.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment and with limited supervision.
