Description We are looking to bring on board a meticulous Data Entry Clerk to join our team in the Mortgage Companies industry, based in Irvine, California. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting thorough reviews of documents for accuracy and completeness, verifying funds and lender specifications, and maintaining quality control for all files reviewed. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity.Responsibilities Review executed closing documents for accuracy and completeness Verify if funds are due from consumers and received per CDALTA and notify appropriate individuals if not Ensure the quality of scanned documents, making sure they are legible, attached to the file, and web viewable Review title commitments to ensure all title requirements have been met Verify and read all notes in CurativeInsured and Closing products and ensure all requirements are met Create appropriate notes for all files reviewed, detailing whether the review passed or failed, and create tasks for corrections if needed Attach trailing mail and corrections to the appropriate orders and submit corrections to lender per their specifications Approve shipping of packages to lenders after review Elevate problem files to audit rejections for resolution Maintain the settlement review group box. Requirements Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word. Proficiency in data entry and typing. Experience with 10 Key Skills. Ability to perform calculations accurately. Knowledge of organizing files and scanning documents. Proficient in email correspondence. Strong customer service skills. No specific years of experience required, open to candidates at all levels. Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy. Excellent time management and prioritization skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong written and verbal communication skills. High school diploma or equivalent educational level.
