We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Resort Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations in our fine dining establishment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a strong background in restaurant management. This role requires excellent leadership skills, a commitment to food service and safety, and the ability to manage and train staff to deliver exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage all aspects of restaurant operations, including staff supervision, training development, and performance management.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of food handling practices.
Foster a positive dining experience by providing outstanding customer service and addressing any guest concerns promptly.
Coordinate catering services and special events to enhance the restaurant's offerings.
Develop training programs for staff to improve service quality and operational efficiency.
Monitor restaurant performance metrics and implement strategies for continuous improvement.
Collaborate with the Chef to create seasonal menus that reflect customer preferences while developing and monitoring trends in fine dining.
Staff hiring and creating weekly shift schedules.
Oversee inventory, cost controls, and financial performance.
Skills:
Strong leadership abilities with experience in training development and team management.
Proficient in monitoring inventory of liquor and wine and fulfilling weekly orders.
Excellent customer service skills with a focus on enhancing guest experiences.
Knowledge of food handling regulations and best practices in the hospitality industry.
Experience in catering services is a plus, along with familiarity with hotel operations.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with staff, guests, and vendors.

ServSafe certification and knowledge of California health department regulations.
