Construction Sales Representative

NIKSI Construction is looking for a highly self-motivated team player for our Sales Representative role having a strong work ethic and excellent sales /verbal/ written skills.

This sales role is one of the most important within our company. This person should possess the ability to gather and assess what information and materials are needed to succeed and communicate with our customers. Build strong long-lasting relationships and be an experienced closer.

This position will work with internal/external teams understanding the beginning, middle and end cycles of construction, identifying and solving practical problems and being the point of contact for customers. Ensures all information is input into the system, quotes are kept up to date in the system, and consistently updating the CRM.

Responsibilities:

We expect our staff to operate with integrity and professionalism.

Responsible for entering project information data and project documentation into project management software

applications (BuliderTrend).

Responsible for securing, estimating, and closing new deals.

Manage and maintain relationships with customers-serving as the key point of contact.

Responsible for job cost set up & completion in partnership with Project Manager.

Helps with collections when job closes.

Confidence and strong self-assuredness to succeed in cold-calling customers and making a sale.

Willingness to secure and produce new clients by proactively engaging in door-to-door prospecting and direct

outreach.

Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction.

Analyze the territory/market's potential, track sales and status reports.

Identifies and proposes projects across the assigned region & creates a business case.

Research project opportunities by analyzing market strategies, project requirements, and institution financials.

Plans and prepares presentations for potential clients.

This role is % travel and will have weekend travel, specifically across Arizona to start.

Develops close working relationships with customers and the inside support personnel.

Maintains necessary project files to support the business-like administration of the position.

Assists the management team in the training of other sales representatives in the understanding of technical

information, product knowledge, promotional approaches, bidding techniques and selling strategies.

Qualifications:

Construction sales/Project Management preferred minimum 2 years.

Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and with minimum supervision.

Proven track record of selling a minimum of $750,000 a year in similar sales

Must be lively and with an outgoing personality and groomed appearance.

Physical ability to perform inspections as required to complete bid.

Strong communication ability.

Willing to learn CRM – Customer Service Management software and utilize smart phones, laptops and other electronic devices.

Advanced math skills required.

Strong knowledge of construction materials

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $170,000.00 per year (commission plus base pay)

Work Location: Inside / Outside Sales Monday to Friday (and on unscheduled days as needed)
