In 1975, Phil Erickson founded Erickson Framing as a framer for major home builders in Phoenix. In its early days, Erickson helped pioneer the concept of complete framing systems. In 1986, Erickson acquired a Phoenix truss facility to complement its framing operations. We expanded into California in 1988, and Nevada in 1994.

Recognizing an opportunity to increase efficiency and quality during the ‘90s, the company transitioned from stick-framing to panelized framing, a process in which wall panels, floor panels and roof systems are fabricated at a factory, then shipped and erected at the construction site. For our customers, this method dramatically reduces construction time, material waste, labor inputs and carrying costs, while improving quality.

Today Erickson is proudly owned by Asahi Kasei Homes.

The Erickson companies (Erickson Framing AZ, Erickson Framing NV, and Erickson Framing CA) are part of the Synergos Companies. Synergos Companies is a family of companies focused on working as an integrated team to reduce residential construction cycle times. The Synergos family of companies also includes Door Sales & Installations (DSI), Austin Electric Services, Austin Concrete, Austin HVAC, and Brewer Plumbing.
