Job Description:

TraVek Remodeling & Roofing is looking to hire a Purchasing Coordinator to add to our Production team! The primary role of the Purchasing Coordinator will be to conduct all purchasing/ordering, scheduling of pick-up/deliveries of all products for projects.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

Meeting with Sales & Design Associate once a job has been sold to confirm products and scope of project

Utilize Google Drive for data entry and maintenance of all jobs

Maintain organization system of jobs for follow up and auditing purposes

Analyze architectural plans, conceptual drawings, scopes of work, project/product specs and conduct field measurements (if necessary) to have the ability of accurately ordering products as well as putting together turnaround timelines of products, labor and material estimates from subs for each new job

Procure estimates/quotes from vendors and subs by specifying scope of work/materials to ensure accurate pricing

Review bids from suppliers and subs and ask follow up questions to ensure bids are accurate

Identify and connect with current and new subs to ensure the company always has a pool of resources

Create bid lists for each job scope

Order all products after determining accuracy and budget

Continuously updating the finish product sheets to assist Production in scheduling projects

Assess cost effectiveness of products/projects/services by tracking costs and bids to ensure profitability

Prepare timelines, labor & material budget/estimates for Sales and Production teams for changes on scope of work as necessary

Maintain cost keys and price master sheets

Receive all product deliveries and facilitate pick-up/delivery to projects

Maintaining warehouse for organization and cleanliness

Assist with Home Show prep and set up

Create systems to maximize efficiencies to include time and cost savings

Required Knowledge & Skills:

Attention to detail

Strong organizational skills

Analytic mindset and ability to think outside of the box

Experience with Google Drive

Good communication skills to communicate to both team members, subs and vendors alike

Education & Experience Required:

1+ years experience in Purchasing preferred; Previous construction experience preferred

High school diploma required

Work Environment:

Office and field

While performing the duties of this job, the employee must regularly sit, stand, walk, talk or hear and use hands to finger, feel and handle; frequently reach with hands and arms; occasionally climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Must frequently lift and or move 10 pounds and occasionally lift and or move up to 50 pounds.
