Job description:
We are seeking a skilled Machine Technician to join our dynamic team in a manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing machinery, ensuring optimal performance and safety standards. This role requires a strong background in industrial mechanics, as well as proficiency with various electrical components and precision measuring instruments.
Duties:
Maintain and repair machinery within the manufacturing facility to ensure efficient operation.
Utilize low voltage and high voltage systems safely while troubleshooting electrical issues.
Perform welding tasks as needed to repair or fabricate machine components.
Operate and interpret readings from voltmeters and ammeters to diagnose electrical problems.
Work with logic controllers to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to machine automation.
Employ precision measuring instruments to ensure machinery is functioning within specified tolerances.
Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to improve machine performance and reliability.
Document maintenance activities and repairs performed on equipment for record-keeping purposes.
Requirements:
Proven experience as an industrial mechanic or in a similar role within a manufacturing environment.
Strong understanding of low voltage and high voltage electrical systems.
Proficiency in using voltmeters, ammeters, and other precision measuring instruments.
Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints effectively.
Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
Willingness to adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
