These rotations will be in the HSEF & Business Resilience career paths and will expose you to the importance of a proactive HSE management system, strong leadership and employee engagement, and continuous improvement of processes and programs. You will be a key professional within the Honeywell Aerospace manufacturing and repair and overhaul plants, driving sustainable health, safety, industrial hygiene and environmental programs through incorporation of impactful operating processes. You will establish strong working relationships with the site leadership team and the employees. You will report directly to the HSEF Process Excellence Director, with a matrix reporting relationship to the site HSEF Managers.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport programs which promote employee health and safety and prevent work-related injuries and disease
Support programs which ensure regulatory compliance and environmental protection including air pollution, wastewater and hazardous waste management, and sustainability projects
Conduct hazard analyses and implement controls to reduce risk and integrate safe and compliant work practices into manufacturing operations
Provide technical assistance and coach employees on HSEF requirements
Integrate and support onsite contractors and ensure their success
Collaborate across the businesses and departments to develop unique solutions for a variety of customers
Identify continuous improvement opportunities and work with cross-functional teams to execute projects
Conduct inspections and assessments to ensure compliance to regulations and Honeywell standards
Obtain Six Sigma Green Belt certification
YOU MUST HAVEBachelor's or Master’s degree from an accredited college or university in Engineering, Manufacturing, Safety, Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Facilities, Occupational Health, Industrial Hygiene, Chemistry, or a related Health, Safety & Environmental field
Due to export control restrictions, must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident
Must have attained or will attain your degree between May 2022-August 2023
