Follows plans and resolves issues in a manner that results in a successful implementation. The Associate Data Engineer may work on one or more solutions at a time that tend to be of simple to moderate complexity.The Associate Data Engineer performs troubleshooting and issue resolution for simple to moderate data pipeline applications.Job Responsibilities

Understanding of data engineering principles and best practices to build data engineering pipelines.

Demonstrate a strong understanding of relational database concepts and Cloud technologies (GCP-BigQuery, Storage, Composer, and Dataflow).

Work on small to medium-sized projects, developing data applications as a team member.

Collaborate with internal stakeholders to achieve project objectives.

Proficiency in data gathering, inspection, cleansing, transformation, and modeling techniques

Assist other data engineers with support and development tasks.

Implement, integrate, and support data pipelines and applications in collaboration with technical teams to ensure efficient data flow.

Basic knowledge of Java, Spring framework, and deployment topologies.

Experience with Cerner or EPIC systems is a plus.

Possess a solid understanding of Large Language Models (LLM), including their architecture, training methodologies, and applications in various domains such as Natural Language Processing (NLP) and text generation.

Stay updated on the latest advancements and research in LLM, particularly in the context of GCP AI technologies, to identify potential areas of integration and improvement within the organization's data ecosystem.

Familiarity with ticketing systems such as ServiceNow and JIRA.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for integrating LLM and GCP AI technologies in existing data pipelines, applications, and processes, to improve overall operational efficiency and drive innovation.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in both individual and geographically dispersed team environments.

Qualifications

Requires a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Technology, Medical, or Business discipline or equivalent experience.

0-2 years relevant experience required

2+ Years preferred

0-2 years of experience in Data Engineering.

0-2 years experience with scripting(Shell, Python)

0-2 years experience in cloud technologies like GCP, AWS or Azure.

0-2 years experience in implementing data engineering pipelines using GCP technologies like BigQuery, Dataflow , Composer, Vertex AI.
