Job DescriptionDirector of Central Planning: directly reports to Vice President of Customer Fulfillment Planning and Logistics.The primary role of this position is to drive a weekly process optimizing supply/demand matching and factory optimization. The process will be used to commit to our customers, produce a master production schedule and inform/align supply chain on a single plan weekly. The position will lead a team of experts in planning and leverage technology to rapidly respond to customer changes. The position will work closely with the key stakeholders to keep the model clean and aligned to current business environment. Will have a passion for continually improving and driving up KPIs including delivery performance, factory utilization and profitability.This position requires a strong knowledge of Semiconductor manufacturing, our strategy, our customer/partner landscape, Advanced Planning Solutions, Planning best practices, Foundry practices, Factory operations and key supply policies:Develop a highly capable team to ensure the right business process is in place, the customer support model is well understood, and the stakeholders find the process as value added and essential.Drive alignment across supply chain by producing a high-quality plan and ensuring explainability.Develop strategic vision to lead transformation to Foundry best practices, lead transition in skills to support the increasing technology dependency, like adoption of AI.In addition to the above key responsibilities include:Develop and drive Key KPIs across the organization, ensuring we are meeting benchmarks- Factory utilization, Customer service and costBe an integral member of a high influence staff- acting as one team, solving cross team issues, and managing key supply chain business operationsPartner with key leaders on organizational development, workforce, talent and cultural imperativesBehavioral Traits:Work well in highly matrixed, cross-organizational and cross-functional teamsExcellent written and verbal communications skillsStrong business sense, and technically savvy.Strong self-initiative and persistence, ability to deal with a high degree of ambiguity, and drive clarity in key areas.Willingness to handle many complex tasks and deadline pressure while maintaining a high attention to detail and qualityWilling to learn, listen and ensure we are growing the performance of the process, system and teamQualificationsYou must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
