Locally owned small restaurant group currently seeking an experienced and detail-oriented in-house bookkeeper to join our team. As the in-house bookkeeper, you will be responsible for managing all financial transactions and ensuring the accuracy of our financial records. This is a critical role that will contribute to the overall financial health and success of our growing organization.
Responsibilities
Manage and maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable and general ledger
Record daily deposits and reconcile deposits to bank and/or credit card processing
Process and reconcile vendor invoices and payments in a timely manner
Perform bank and credit card reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies
Prepare and process bi-weekly payrolls in coordination with payroll processing company
Prepare daily and monthly financial reports, as required
Collaborate with internal departments to resolve financial inquiries and provide financial analysis and recommendations as needed
Assist with other financial tasks and projects as assigned
Requirements
Proven experience as a bookkeeper
Proficient in using accounting software (Quickbooks) and Microsoft Office Suite
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
Knowledge of tax regulations and compliance is a plus
