Our Accountant / Bookkeeper is responsible for maintaining general accounting records in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles. Will be responsible for month end close process by preparing supporting documents and performing financial analytics. The Staff Accountant also works with others to ensure proper accounting treatment of financial transactions. Our accountant will work with a license CPA to make sure everything is compliant.
Prepare and maintain financial records required to support the monthly close process
-Maintain accuracy of assigned daily general ledger activity
-Perform daily bank reconciliations, credit card transactions and other supporting ledgers.
-Analyze financial data and resolve discrepancies that may arise
-Prepare various governmental filings including Sales and Use Tax and Business Property Tax
-Contribute ideas for processes improvement to enhance workflow efficiency
-Comply with departmental policies and procedures and ensure internal controls are followed
-Inputs ending inventory into accounting system; prepares inventory templates
-Enters health insurance classifications journal entries for medical, dental, vision, workers comp and general liability
-Month end close of banking credit cards and petty cash accounts
-Review Cash Over/Short Monthly
-Other Duties as Assigned by Supervisor / ownership

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
