Job description
We are looking for an experienced Tax Accountant to deliver quality tax services.
Responsibilities
Deliver a full range of tax services in compliance with laws and regulations within timeframe
Build relationships and interact with clients to provide excellent planning, consulting and expertise
Prepare complex Federal and State Tax Returns including Individual, Business, Estate, Fiduciary, Gift, Multi-State Tax Filings, Payroll Tax Returns and International Tax Filings
Staying current with changing tax regulations, performing tax research for client situations, and responding to tax notices
Provide innovative tax planning for clients including advising on federal and state compliance issues
Skills
Strong knowledge of tax accounting, tax compliance and all types of tax returns; Experience with compiled financial statements is a plus
Strong computer skills utilizing Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
Proficiency in Lacerte
Knowledge and experience in QuickBooks and QuickBooks Online
Strong leadership and client relationship skills
Detail-oriented and able to multi-task
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; Master's Degree in Taxation is a plus
2 plus years of public accounting experience is preferred
Certification(s) Required
Licensed CPA and/or Enrolled Agent
