New Electric, Inc. is a leading residential electrical contractor in Maricopa County seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk for its growing residential electrical business for our location in Phoenix. We are looking for a full-time person. This is a permanent, long-term position. Hourly pay (DOE).
Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable Clerk to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for processing invoices, reconciling payments, and ensuring accurate and timely financial transactions.
Responsibilities:
- Process invoices and expense reports
- Verify and reconcile vendor statements
- Prepare and issue payments
- Maintain accurate financial records
- Communicate with vendors and resolve payment discrepancies
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Accounts Payable Clerk or similar role
- Proficiency in accounting software
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Associate's degree in Accounting or related field preferred
