Dental Assistant position, $18-34/hr DOE:
We have a fun time at work and would like to hire a dental assistant who enjoys staying busy while having fun.
The dental assistant should be friendly and well-organized with great attention to detail. Excellent customer service skills and strong computer skills are needed as well. We want you to be skilled in providing patient care and able to make office procedures as smooth as possible.
2 years of dental assisting experience is preferred, however, we are WILLING TO TRAIN an individual with an excellent, hard-working attitude.
32-40 hours a week available.
This is a small office with 2 dentists, locally owned, and in a convenient south-side location. We have long-term staff with low turnover.

Responsibilities
Welcome patients to the dental office
Prepare patients for treatments ensuring their comfort
Select and set up instruments, equipment and materials needed
Sterilize instruments according to regulations
Assist the dentist through 4-handed dentistry
Take impressions, x-rays
Make and seat temporary crowns
Provide oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions
Keep rooms clean and well-stocked
Monitor supplies and order as appropriate
Schedule appointments, enter treatment plans
Maintain accurate patient records and assist with payment procedures
Skills
Proven experience as dental assistant preferred, happy to train someone with a positive attitude
Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods preferred
Understanding of health & safety regulations
Good computer skills
