We are a fast paced pediatric dental office located in Wasilla looking for a team orientated, customer service enthusiast, outgoing person to join our team of dental assistants.
PRIMARY Job duties:
Greet and escort patient to the operatory in time for their scheduled appointment.
Assist the dentist in all chair side treatment
Maintain a sterile and neat working environment according to current infection control procedures.
Review the health history, make chart entries under the direction of the dentist and assure completion of forms and signatures.
Update patient’s treatment plan accordingly.
Perform any expanded duties that may be delegated by the dentist.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
At least one year experience working as a dental assistant
Enjoy working with CHILDREN
Team orientated work experience
Ability to demonstrate high level of customer service
Able to organize work and engage in a variety of tasks
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
Experience of working with the public in fast paced environment
Experience with children's dentistry
This position typically works 3 days per week, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday’s from 8:00 am to 5:30 pm (depending on patient load). Summer work schedule changes slightly with every other Friday off and working Wednesdays the week we take Friday off.
