Bright Smiles Dental is seeking a friendly and reliable Dental Assistant with excellent interpersonal skills to join our team! We provide high-quality dental care in a warm and welcoming environment.
Our hours are Monday to Thursday 8am to 5pm.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist dentists and hygienists during dental procedures.
- Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and setting up equipment.
- Take digital dental X-rays as directed by the dentist.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and give post-operative care instructions.
- Maintain accurate patient records and update medical histories as needed.
- Manage inventory and order dental supplies as necessary.
- Provide excellent customer service and ensure patient comfort throughout their visit.
- Follow all safety and infection control protocols to maintain a clean and hygienic environment.
Qualifications:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to patient confidentiality.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow within the role.
- Completion of a dental assisting program or previous experience preferred, but not required.
- Knowledge of dental terminology, instruments, and procedures is a plus.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Competitive hourly wage commensurate with experience; Annual salary range: $30K to $50K
