Blue River Aviation is a premier flight school located in the heart of Palmer, Alaska, dedicated to providing top-notch aviation training. Offering a comprehensive range of courses from private pilot’s licenses to Certified Flight Instructor (CFI) certifications, Multi Engine ratings, seaplane endorsements, ATP qualifications, and beyond, our facility is equipped with a diverse fleet of over 15 aircraft and supported by a team of over 12 highly skilled CFIs. Job Description:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable individual to join our vibrant team. This role is ideal for individuals who possess a proactive approach, a willingness to learn, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, energetic setting.

Pay: DOE

Key Responsibilities:

Serve as the first point of contact for the company, embodying professionalism and a welcoming demeanor.

Handle customer inquiries with efficiency and accuracy, ensuring a high level of customer service.

Manage communication through phone calls and emails, providing detailed information on flight operations and training programs.

Process payments and assist with billing inquiries, maintaining accuracy and confidentiality.

Organize and maintain customer and student records, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Collaborate closely with the Chief CFI and support flight instructors in the operational aspects and scheduling of students.

Utilize scheduling software for updating and creating reservations, demonstrating proficiency in technology.

Conduct research on scholarship and grant opportunities, offering valuable information to students.

Oversee the operation of the PSI testing facility, ensuring smooth administration and compliance.

Qualifications:

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.

Responsible and able to work independently.

Knowledge of aviation or flight training is required.
