Animal care specialist is a person responsible for the safety and information over a few animals. You will keep the animal area clean and tidy (poop scooping, filling waters, and keeping area clean and organized). You will be creating visitors and inviting them over to feed and interact with the animals in your zone. You will share facts about the animals and encourage feeding and petting where allowed. Take photos for people.
This is an outside job.
Great Customer Service skills is a must.
Some animals you could be working with could be- reindeer, alpaca, moose, bison, yaks, highland cattle, mini donkeys, pigs, chickens and turkeys.
If you are willing to cross train you have potential to earn a little more.
