About the Position: Position may be filled as a term appointment NTE 3 years. Term appointments may be extended up to a maximum of 8 years. Responsibilities Perform complex data analysis in support of tool sustainment, customer help desk inquiries, and development efforts, within the Sales and Operations Planning Branch, Strategic Readiness Division, LDAC. Develop, document, refine, functional requirements for app/tool/visualization development/sustainment and data sets. Assess performance of both internal and external support initiatives. Evaluate policies and program operations to maintain workloads to meet mission requirements. Develop and track functional tasks in support of supply management. Assist leadership of the Strategic Readiness Division (SRD) with daily operations. Monitor the execution of major programs requiring inter-staff coordination for successful attainment of the SRD objectives. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes working as functional logistics expert in support of business rules, data sets, and tools/visualizations; providing and overseeing project management tasks; monitoring program efficiency and effectiveness within assigned areas; providing functional analysis on supply-related data; managing functional requirements for asset visibility-related tools/visualizations. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-13). Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience aloneno substitution of education for experience is permitted. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Administration and Management Planning and Evaluating Strategic Thinking Technical Data Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-13). Education Additional Information Male applicants born after December 31, 1959, must complete a Pre-Employment Certification Statement for Selective Service Registration. You will be required to provide proof of U.S. Citizenship. One year trial period may be required. Direct deposit of pay is required.
