Description: Be part of a dynamic security engineering team working to capture, define, architect, develop, integrate, and sell-off products to government customers. In this role, you will lead tasks such as the following under the general direction of the cyber engineering lead:Apply an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to plan, design, develop, validate and verify Cyber solutions across the lifecycleServe as cyber representative to non-cyber teams supporting requirements understanding, collaborative engagement, and solution identification, design, and implementationConduct cybersecurity evaluation of hardware and/or software designs to verify and validate compliance with defined specifications and requirementsDevelop Cyber Plans and ProceduresSupport coordination of cyber risk assessments and Cyber Table Top (CTT) reviewsConduct cyber risk assessment activities including threat modeling, vulnerability analysis and analysis of mitigation solutionsExecute cyber test activities to include test reporting and software assurance (SWA) related activitiesSupport program engineering environment to include hardware and software tools as well as equipment and applications to emulate systems and cyber threatsBasic Qualifications:In-depth experience with cybersecurity concepts and principlesPossess DoD 8570 IAT Level II, or higher, certification (e.g., Security+, GSEC, etc.) or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.Networking fundamentalsStrong technical writing skillsStrong cross-team, cross-discipline collaborative leadership, focusing on win-win solutionsStrong internal and external customer focus where “d customer success”Strong teamwork skillsAbility to effectively interact with customers and senior program managementStrong problem solving and troubleshooting skillsExcellent team orientationActive interim or final Secret security clearance or ability to obtainDesired Skills:Cybersecurity engineering experience with embedded systems development for DoDSoftware development support experience with DoD embedded systemsPossess DoD 8570 IAT Level III certification (e.g., CISSP, CISA, etc.) or ability to obtain within 30 days of hirePossess DoD 8570 IAM Level II, or higher, certification (e.g., CISSP, CISM, etc.) or ability to obtain within 30 days of hireVulnerability AnalysisExperience with Open Source Intelligence and similar methodologiesHands-on scripting experience with PowerShell, Bash, Python, or similarExperience cyber-hardening operating systems (STIGS or similar)Experience cyber-hardening network equipment such as switches, firewalls, routers (STIGS or similar)Penetration Testing/Blue/Red Team/CVPA/AA experience as system owner representative or test teamTop Secret clearance preferredSecurity Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.Clearance Level: SecretOther Important Information You Should KnowExpression of Interest: By applying to this job, you are expressing interest in this position and could be considered for other career opportunities where similar skills and requirements have been identified as a match.
